NVIDIA DISPLAY DRIVER STOPPED RESPONDING WINDOWS 7 INSTALL
if you have tried using HP restore CD's to install the OS and drivers etc and still giving you same issues ,as you pointed out it could be hardware related and needs to be assesed by HP service center or by HP 2nd level/3 rd level support (error logs)before another part is replaced. i usually run the updates in this order - BIOS,chipset ,graphics.
Glad the issue is getting resolved, not sure if you tried updating the BIOS. How I haven't through the PC out of the window and in front of a train that passes our building I don't know I have also looked on google and spiceworks and followed other advice that I have found there and still no luck. Still no luck, keep getting the Display Driver Stopped Responding and has Recovered error and the system keeps freezing Then proceeded to do a fresh install of Windows again! and install the drivers from Intel Called up HP helpdesk, did some trouble shooting and was then send a new motherboardĦ. Installed drivers from Intel (as its an Intel integrated graphics)ĥ. To try and fix this I have done the following:ģ.Fresh install of Windows 7 with drivers from HPĤ. Every so often the screen will go black, then reappear with a message in the bottom saying "Display Driver Stopped Responding and has Recovered," or the system will lock up completely and I am forced to turn it off at the mains. We have recently purchased a HP Pro 3400 MT, and since day one have been having issues with the graphics on the system.
